Nicole's Kindergarten Graduation

Gotta love kindergarten--picking your nose is not quite taboo as it will be next year!

Oakland Temple

Our ward's Elders quorum has a temple trip 4 times a year where you can bring your kids, and someone watches them in the Stake Center next to the temple. You only have to leave your kids for the time it takes for a session, rather than 5 hours! Someone was thinkin'!

Firestation

Nicole missed out on this one as she was still in school. The boys LOVED it--if you can't tell.

Disneyland--The Happiest Place on Earth

That's what the sign reads on one of the entrance gates. I can actually think of many other times and places where I've been much happier--all having to do with my wonderful husband and amazing children--but Disneyland, was a pretty happy/fun place. (Don't forget to click "older posts" to see Isaac's favorite ride--I posted it first, and it got pushed to the next page as I added more pictures. :( )

Hephalumps and Woozles!!

The kids all liked the Winnie the Pooh ride--the hephalumps and woozles part of it disturbed them a little, but they still wanted to meet Winnie the Pooh after it was all over. Unfortunately we waited in line for a while, and the characters left to take a break. After waiting a while for them to come back we decided to move on and a minute after we did they came back!! I think Curt and I felt worse about it than the kids did. :)

Great Friends

Erik and Shelby Condon are the ones who invited us to come to Disneyland with them. They made us the best steak dinner we've ever had, and even provided us with a place to stay!! Disneyland was very fun, but the trip was even that much more fun because we got spend time with our friends.

Before and After

Nicole and Isaac were tall enough to go on the Matterh0rn ride, but as you can see one of them probably wasn't quite old enough. :) The few minutes at the beginning of pitch blackness and scary abominable snowman noises followed by a fast and jerky roller coaster ride was too much for Isaac. Curt said he knew when the kids' bobsled was coming out of the mountain because he could hear Isaac yelling, "I want to get off, I want to get off!!"

Nicole's Disneyland Favorite

Ryan's Favorite Ride?

This was our first ride we went on, so Ryan wasn't sure what to expect, and was quite worried. After the ride though and every time we walked past or saw this ride from a distance he would yell excitedly ROCKETSHIP!! The Tiki Room and Jungle boat ride were probably his real favorite. :)

Isaac's Favorite Ride

Lazer guns to shoot, lost of noise and lights, spaceships you can spin--a little boys dream!

This one's for Grandpa Peterson

They've been doing construction in our courtyard playground for quite some time now. You might have guessed it's hard to go outside and play without pulling the boys off the tractors a few hundred times!!

DON'T PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD!

You can't really say that to your kids when Dad makes a mashed potato and gravy, and sugar snap pea Mater Truck (from the Cars movie!) Nicole followed Dad's lead and made a garden.
