Early Celebrations
We did most of our Independence Day Celebrations on Saturday this year. Ward breakfast, bike parade, a BBQ and small fireworks at our house that evening. I still can't believe that ALBQ doesn't have any kind of parade. They do have a race, but it falls on Sunday this year. Maybe next year!

Curt fulfilling his Elder quorumly duties--flipping pancakes
Heidi modeling on the newly (almost finished tile) Curt just finished the stair edges, now all that is left is the grout.
If I Have Time . . . Maybe some catch up pictures
BASEBALL SEASON
Isaac got the award on his T-ball team for youngest switch hitter. He seems more natural hitting left handed, but we've been working with him right handed too. Probably didn't throw off the t-ball pitcher much. :)

He made it to first!

At bat . . . this was one of the first games of the season . . . don't worry we worked on her batting stance. She did really great. First time playing softball--fast pitch no less--they were swinging at 35 mph pitches from a machine. I was impressed at all the little girls. It's interesting as a parent to watch your child do something you love. You want them SO much to succeed at it, and enjoy it, but in the end, it's all up to them. With those 35 mph pitches there were times Nicole wasn't sure if she wanted to play next year. I guess we'll find out next year what she decides!!
Heidi LOVES playing the piano. If she is ever upset Nicole totes her on over to the piano and she's just fine.
Brownie points for mom. We babysat Nicole's class Guinea pig Oreo during spring break. Nicole's teacher told us that the guinea pig is a little messy in that in all it's rummaging around in it's cage it knocks out a lot of its wood chips etc. and that we might want to keep it in the garage. Curt said that I should have told her that the garage is where our nicer cement floor is. Ha ha. We will have tile soon I hope!!
Nicole's Baptism--Lots of family! Aunt Tori and baby Bailey, Grandma and Grandpa Salisbury, Uncle Royce, Brynne and Maren, and lot of friends came to support as well. It was a beautiful day!
