January-March

Huge Photo Dump.  January-March.  Blogger has changed a little bit since I last posted in January, so the oldest pictures are at the bottom of this post with the newest at the top.  I uploaded the pictures the way you were supposed to before the change to get the oldest pictures at the bottom, but it is opposite now!  But way faster so I won't complain.

 St. Patty's lunch.

Heidi's at the stage where she is wearing dress-ups more than her normal clothing.

Not sure what I'm going to do to stop these birthdays from coming.  She's getting too old.

Heidi has taken to drawing much like Nicole did at her age.  She will sit and color and draw for an hour.  I will have to post some of her princess and mermaid drawings sometime.
Nicole read the first two Harry Potter books a few years ago, and decided they were a little scary for her.  This winter after attending a fun Harry Potter birthday party where the parents carved out of wood a different wand for each of the party guests, sewed scarves, made potions, had a sorting hat etc . . . Nicole decided she wanted to read them all.  So over the course of about a month (would have been faster but she was in school and soccer) she read all seven, and is a huge fan now.
Isaac won a prize for dressing backwards-ly to a backwards party he attended.  Love the missing two front teeth look.
I've been choir director for the past almost three years and we had practice in our home.  The kids loved it.  Mostly because it was a sanctioned play date on Sunday.  (We had it at our house so people could bring kids.)  Heidi however would want to sing with us.  Several times when we running through songs up in the choir seats before we were to sing in church, Heidi would be holding music and singing along, sitting amongst the choir members.
 Love sleeping baby pictures.

Heidi's maternal Polar Bear instincts kicking in.
Nicole fixed up a way for Heidi to take "Polar Bear" with her everywhere she went and still have hands free!

Ryan's cast didn't really slow him down.  He found ways to do everything he normally did.
It did keep him from playing most of his basketball season though.   He and Isaac were on the same team.  Ryan got to go to two practices before he broke his arm, then ended up playing two games at the end of the season.  While his arm was broken he would sit by us, then run over to where the team was when in between quarters or time outs etc, then run back when it was time to play.
 Watching Isaac's games . . .
 How Nicole watches games . . .

 Heidi
Isaac and Curt are in the first picture, then both Ryan and Isaac are in the bottom too.  It was so fun as a parent to have them playing on the same team . . . not sure why.  Next year they will be able to play on the same baseball team.
