This was our second trip to the beach that we played in the water. The first one I forgot my camera!! If I would have had it then I could have gotten some pictures and video of Heidi boogie boarding by herself, and some pelicans that were diving for fish only feet away from us and the other swimmers.
These pictures are from Labor day weekend. Probably the most crowded I have seen that beach.
I love these pictures of Nicole because she was telling me some funny story of something that happened and I don't even remember what it was because I was just basking in her happiness and beautiful self. I promise I was listening though.
He doesn't like his hats to fit him too tight, so the result is mushroom head. We have pictures of Ryan at this beach with that same hat and swim shirt on.
The first time Heidi boogie boarded the water was super calm the waves were barely a ripple and not even braking. She loved it and was pretty excited to get back on the board but the waves were a little bigger this time . . . seaweed on her face and sand in her hair.

apparently they allow horses on the beach these days?! This great dane was huge.

we saw an otter! Look how close this girl got! The otter kind of lingered around in the same area for a good 10 minutes. He'd dive under then pop up a few feet away.

Oh I am so glad you guys have been going to the beach! :) Best place ever! :) You have the cutest family, we miss you guys! Maybe we can make it out there sooner than later! Love You!
